Tom is an excellent complementary practitioner, an expertise he has mastered to an outstandingly high standard, always seeking perfection in his treatments while keeping in touch with proven advances. Tom has been particularly skilled in identifying some of my more difficult physical and emotional needs with caring, patient reassurance and obvious empathy. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tom for his exceptional work in the healing arts. Thank you Tom!

I booked a hot stone massage with Tom from
Lakeview Therapy through Groupon. It took 2 months to get an appointment as it was obviously a very popular deal. I had to reschedule the first appointment I was given and turned up at the new date about 3 weeks later.

I arrived first and then another lady came along and said she also had an appointment. Being a kind woman, and seeing as that lady had come from Ashford, and I lived less than 5 minutes away, I let her have the treatment. Tom said that my appointment was probably in his 'other diary' and that it was for a time that I would never have agreed to, as I am a mother on maternity leave and at 5pm, my husband would still be on his way home. He seemed very confused that I was there at all, but I had entered the date in my phone calendar when I first rebooked, so I know it wasn't wrong. We rebooked another appointment for another, more suitable time the next week.

I came at the suggested time, just before 8:30pm, for my appointment on June 8 after a stressful day, hoping to have this long awaited appointment that I purchased on the 5th March. Tom was sullen and asked me whether the traffic was bad. Having driven just 3 minutes to get there, I was initially confused by his question. He then asked me for my Groupon. I looked on my phone app only to discover it was not there. I showed him the email I had been sent booking it and things became increasingly nasty. I started to feel humiliated. After his attitude towards me, I simply walked out. There's no way I wanted him to touch me after the way he made me feel.

At home I looked closer into my account and found that he had already redeemed my voucher, on the 16th April. This was around 2 weeks before the very first appointment was scheduled to be (on the first May Bank Holiday). The second appointment that he double booked was on the second Bank Holiday. The last appointment booked was on June 8.

A horrible experience with a disorganised, patronising and horrible man who made me feel humiliated at a time I wanted a relaxing experience! Do not recommend. I have my money back now, but the whole thing was a waste of time and made me feel very upset. One star simply because it's the lowest I can give and the location of my appointment at a hotel in Bearsted was beautiful.
